An extraordinary cycling experience in Tenerife that begins in the San Isidro area, passing through the villages of Chimiche and Villa de Arico, before reaching El Porís. From there, we’ll tackle the only gentle climb of the day, surrounded by the impressive landscape of the island’s largest wind farm.

The day begins with a comfortable pick-up from your accommodation. Your cycling guide will welcome you on board the minivan, where your bikes are already prepared and ready to go. From there, we head towards the starting point in the El Médano – San Isidro area.
After a short briefing and bike setup, we start our cycling tour towards El Porís.
The first 10 kilometers feature a series of continuous and enjoyable ups and downs, never steeper than 5%, on wide and safe roads. We continue along the legendary TF-28 — a historic route that for hundreds of years was the only road connecting the sea to the mountains, long before the modern motorways were built.
From this point, we ride for another 8 kilometers through the heart of the island, alternating short climbs and descents with gentle gradients that allow us to fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes unfolding around us, framed by the characteristic yellow walls that line the road.
Once in Villa de Arico, we’ll stop for a coffee break before starting the long descent towards El Porís — a traditional fishing village on the east coast of Tenerife, where time seems to stand still.
After the customary photo in front of the black sand beach, we begin the only gentle yet spectacular climb of the day — about 10 kilometers long, with gradients between 3% and 5% — as we ride through the island’s largest wind farm. This ascent brings us, after about 500 meters of elevation gain, back to Villa de Arico, where we complete our loop.
From here, we enjoy about 20 kilometers of rolling terrain — a sequence of gentle climbs and descents — leading us back to the starting point and the end of our unforgettable cycling experience in Tenerife
