Is it possible to buy suitable clothing or equipment?

You will find at our bike point everything you need: outfits, jerseys, energy bars, water bottles, gloves, sunglasses.

Certainly! If you have no way of getting to the shop independently, we are able to offer home delivery and collection of the bicycle, at a minimum cost of 20 euros ( for the 2 services) within a radius of 5 km from one of our bases. Beyond this distance the cost will be calculated in the booking phase

The bike will be delivered to you with a repair kit that includes tire remover levers, a new spare tube, a small pump, 2 bottle cages.

In Spain, in the Canary Islands, it is not possible to insure damage caused to bicycles during the rental, so you will be 100% responsible for damage caused or theft – even of accessories- of what is delivered to you upon signing the contract.

We offer the possibility of renting – subject to confirmation during the booking phase – a vast assortment of equipment

Absolutely. Tenerife offers routes for everyone. Almost all of our tours, including the most famous ones like Mount Teide, can be customized based on your fitness level.

We offer Easy, Medium, or Expert options. We can vary the distance, the total elevation gain, and, if necessary, the starting point (e.g., starting from Vilaflor instead of the coast) to ensure the experience is a pleasant challenge, not an impossible feat.

We strongly recommend that you bring at least your personal clothing (shirt and shorts) with you and, if you have space in your suitcase, also pedal clips, shoes, helmet, windbreaker or vest. If this is not possible, you will have the opportunity to rent them from us upon notice.

It is important that on your cycling tour you have the right clothing for the season and the altitude you intend to reach based on the description of the tour.

The minimum obligatory equipment necessary for the tour is:

  • sports clothing suitable for cycling
  • cycling shoes (we will provide the pedals) or hiking or similar closed shoes.
  • ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN: sandals or flip flops.
  • sunglasses to protect the eyes from insects and vegetation.
  • sun protection cream

It is possible to bring a change of clothes or a backpack to leave in the car if not necessary during the tour.

You will find at our bike point everything you need: outfits, jerseys, energy bars, water bottles, gloves, sunglasses.

If you have no way of arriving independently at the starting point, we are able to offer pick-up and drop-off. Ask for a quote when booking.

Yes, our company provides insurance coverage for customers who have an accident during the guided tour, as long as it is caused by a malfunction of the bike and not by misuse of the bicycle.

After having confirmed all the details of your booking through our booking office, you will be sent an email requesting a deposit – via Pay Pal or Stripe – of a percentage of your total amount. Only after paying this deposit can you consider your request confirmed. It should be noted that the payment of the deposit does not need to be with Paypal or Stripe, and that credit or debit cards can also be used

What is the best time of year to come cycling in Tenerife?

Tenerife is a year-round cycling destination, 365 days a year, thanks to its “eternal spring” climate, with an average annual temperature of 23°C (73°F).

  • Spring (March-May): Generally considered the golden period. Temperatures are warm, days are long (about 8 hours of sunshine), and clouds at high altitudes are less frequent.

  • Winter (October-February): This is the high season for cyclists, especially for professional teams who come here for altitude training. Temperatures on the coast are mild (often 20-22°C / 68-72°F), but it is essential to have winter clothing for the descents from Mount Teide.

  • Summer (June-August): It is warmer, but the mornings are excellent for riding. Sea breezes and the cool air of Mount Teide make cycling pleasant.

  • Autumn (September-November): Similar to spring, with optimal temperatures for long days in the saddle.

This is the most important question for anyone cycling in Tenerife. Underestimating clothing is a mistake. During the ascent of Mount Teide, you will pass through 3 distinct climate zones in just a few hours:

  • The Coast (0-800m): Warm and sunny. You can ride comfortably in a summer kit (shorts and jersey).

  • The Cloud Belt (1000m-1800m): This is the “trap.” It’s the area where the “sea of clouds” (or panza de burro) forms. Here, the temperature can plummet (even to 5-15°C / 41-59°F), with high humidity, wind, and fog.

  • The High Altitude (1800m-2300m): Above the clouds, you will almost always find bright sunshine, dry air, and milder temperatures (often 15°C / 59°F even in mid-winter).

Pro tip: Always bring layers with you, even if it’s 25°C (77°F) at the start. Arm warmers, leg warmers (in winter), and, above all, a high-quality windproof/waterproof jacket are essential. The descent through the cloud belt can be dangerously cold if you are damp with sweat.

Tenerife is a very large island that has the Teide volcano as its highest point. It is almost always sunny for at least 10 months a year, but the difference in altitude exposes us to sudden changes in temperature, so to give specific forecasts for a given time of year is quite complicated. For a rough estimate, please refer to the local weather forecast site www.meteosat.com/tiempo/tenerife/tiempo-adeje.html
